Emmie's Amazing Adventures

For the next few posts, I'm going to tell you about my family. My dad likes to hunt and has been hunting for 30 years. He has killed some pretty good bucks. He is also a children's pastor at New Providence Baptist Church. He does a very good job at it and you should come visit it soon. He is also on a basketball team. He has made one goal so far but I am sure he will make lots more. He sings up on stage on Sundays, too. He has an amazing voice and I love it so much. He is very, very fun! I love that he takes me and my sisters on a date every Valentine's Day. One time, he took us to the circus. It was so much fun!  My mom loves to run and has run a lot of marathons and 5ks. She works at a gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the morning. She wrote a book called Sometimes Courage  which is about her life. My mom has had a very challenging life because she has had two heart surgeries and one brain surgery. She teaches a Sunday school class and an AWANA class, too. She...

 At Awana there are groups of kids. There is red, yellow, blue, and green for the team colors. We have game time, counsel time, and hand book time. After all those I go down to my mom's class. There is t&t which is for 3 rd   grade through 5 th  grade there is sparks for kinder garden through 2 nd  grade. It is so much fun!

My dad's birthday is this month and for his birthday four of my siblings got him a cow. They bought him from our friend, Mr. Sanders. He was $50. Dad named him Rump roast. He is one month old. He is black, cute, and he moos a lot. He only drinks milk right now. He drinks two bottles of milk a day. When he gets bigger we will sell him. Here is a picture of him.
